CHS needs dedicated volunteers
to fill the following roles:
Foster Homes:We are always looking for foster homes for both cats and dog. Please send an email to info@columbiahumane.org to obtain an application today. We have a variety of options available. Some of them are long term, some are short term it all depends on the needs at the time we ask and what you are able to provide. We do supply everything that you need, and will always have more supplies sent to your home. Fostering is very rewarding but we also understand it can be very hard on your heart. We encourage our fosters to help facilitate adoptions because after all you know the pets in your care more than we do.
Social Media Assistant We are looking for a volunteer to help us keep our social media accounts (Twitter and Facebook) up to date by posting photos, stories and other interesting and relevant information. Some information and graphics will be provided by the shelter, this volunteer will be responsible for creating or finding additional content.
Experience with creating and editing videos is highly desired.
